Raccoons are experts at wearing face masks!

We hope everyone is staying safe! Remember to wash your hands often, avoid touching your face as much as possible, and wear a face mask if you are able to do so!

Saco River Wildlife Center is still taking animals in.

How we handle intakes, however, has changed. If you are bringing in an animal to us, we ask that you wear a face mask if you have to come inside and to do your best to maintain a six foot distance at all times. There are signs in the driveway pointing the way to the back entry, which is where we process intakes.

There is a sink on the left as you walk in. Please wash your hands with Dawn soap and water for at least 20 seconds before proceeding further (we'll try to get the box/carrier/etc. with the animal(s) from you first). For your own health and safety, feel free to also wash your hands on the way out.
